A Bill Philips Film,
By
This review is from: Body of Work (VHS Tape)
A Powerfully Inspirational True Story About Winning, A Bill Phillips Film. (copyright 1998) What started out as a "fitness challenge" ended up as something much, much more. This real life story is vivid proof that where there is a will, there is a way. When it was all said and done, not only were literally tens of thousands of pounds of fat lost and tons of new muscle gained but, in the process, countless lives were changed for the better, and the sport of bodybuilding was redefined. Body of Work is a powerfully inspirational film that chronicles the lives of ten individuals who transform themselves physically, emotionally and spiritually!

The Body of Work video highlights the EAS Body For Life fitness competition. This wonderful program has changed the lives of millions of people.
The Body For Life Program is easy to follow and if you put your mind to it, you will see results. I watch the Body of Work video every couple of weeks to keep me motivated and on track with the program. I highly recommend it.

Do NOT expect to get any training tips from this video.,

This review is from: Body of Work (VHS Tape)
The Body of Work documentary film profiled the 1997 Physique-Transformation Challenge and its 10 finalists. The first half of it makes a great motivational video. The second half drags and could have been edited a lot better. The bit about the lie detector tests was totally unnecessary. And, all the controversy about picking the finalist could have been a lot shorter. Just don't expect to get any training tips from this video. It is all about selling the dream of achieving a championship body.

Who's the stud on the cover? Oh, yeah, that's me!,
This review is from: Body of Work (VHS Tape)
Just passing by this today and reminded what a great, inspirational movie this is... or documentary. And what an amazingly fun time we had creating it.
This was done at the tail end of our EAS days... great times and now it's nice to have evolved on. Today, rather than supplements for athletes and bodybuilders, I focus on nourishing success of busy, driven, Type A men in the middle 3rd of life. That's to say, helping men live strong vibrant lives from 30 to 60. I do that will the world's most advanced, scientifically proven total nutrition shake, Full Strength (available only at [...]) and with the wisdom in Strength for LIFE. I enjoyed my time during these days--the Body for Work and EAS days... oh yes, and Body for Life but I am enjoying this new chapter with more strength, energy and clarity than ever before. For the latest in Transformational Wisdom and how to Live a Full Strength Life from the inside out, check out: Strength for Life: The Fitness Plan for the Rest of Your Life To Your Life @ Full Strength, Shawn Phillips Author and yes, model on this cover...

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

This is not a work-out video but an inspirational documentary. If you are doing the Body for Life program now and haven't seen this film, you should definitely buy it. It documents the winners of the first Body for Life Challenge and your family members who aren't doing the program will probably enjoy, too. This VHS as well as the two sequel documentaries are now available as a bundled DVD pack, so check that out, too.

I watched this video over 6 years ago, but I still recall how powerfully inspirational it was. It will definately give you a boost towards starting a weight-training routine - or re-energize a routine you may have given up. It's a MUST WATCH!!

I have loved this movie for years. This movie really is an inspiration to any body builder or anyone who wishes to get in shape. It's really amazing what these group of people did in a short time. I recommend you pick up this movie and really get inspired by the transformations.
