Nice Body!,

Ahhh, this 2-disc CD brought back a LOT of fun memories. I was one of the few people around these parts who had heard of Nitzer Ebb--much less listened to them! I "discovered" this group quite by accident when I picked up a 12" vinyl mix of "Join in the Chant". What I liked about them was they reminded me a little of what Depche Mode does with remixes; i.e. they hardly sound anything like the original cut.
CD-1 plays like a "Best Of" list. The CD really moves. Put on the original cut of "Hearts and Minds", crank it up, and see if your party doesn't start moving! Nitzer Ebb fell in the category of "industrial dance"...when it REALLY was industrial dance: hard edged beats with just enough synth to make it sound a little darker than techno or house music, and, oh, the lead singer's voice--very different but extremely captivating! I liked just about all the cuts on the first CD, except maybe a couple. Those were either too slow or just didn't work, but this CD alone is worth your price. CD-2 is truly a bonus. Here you get the remixes (I already had most of them, but still enjoyed it immensely). This 2-disc CD is worth your money. As I stated before, this brought back a lot of good memories when you could go to a club and "slam" to music that wasn't so "bubbly". Enjoy!

Old School Industrial,

This is a great album for people that are looking for that early industrial sound. Much of my mispent youth was in dark clubs grinding away to bands like Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, and Ministry. This album covers all the songs I remember and more I never knew of.

Great remixes of their works over their career. This has been on rotation in my car cd player since I bought the cd.
