I like the quick release plate.,

I liked the large handles makes easy to use with gloves on. The quick release mount is a good idea. This comes in handly when lugging the tripod around without having the camera attached. It takes some getting use to the saftey latch. I wish there was markiig or detent were 90 and 180 was. Or maybe a bubble level.

I was bidding on Ebay for the same item and lost every time as I had a set my high bidding price. Then by chance I did a search for the Bogen 3030, and my search showed that Amazon had some used 3030 tripod heads. I decided to choose this one and to my surprise when I got it, it was almost like new and was below my price range I had set for bidding on Ebay. I'm very happy with my purchase.
