Good, sturdy monopod,

I spent a lot of time researching before I bought this monopod, and it really fits the bill for me. I use it for my 70-200mm 2.8 VR Nikon lens and it's great. It's lightweight but sturdy enough for that heavy lens, and it's easy to adjust. I added a swivel head with Kirk mount on it, and then added the Kirk quick release clamp to that, and it works really great. I can swivel the lens up or down, and the lens itself can rotate to vertical position, eliminating the need for a ball head.
