Just got this game from Amazon. Was real excited to play it because I love word games. But, what's up with these games? Seems to me the computer you challenge is making up words! Some of the words there is no way they are in the dictionary! If you have to challenge the computer, at least the words should exist in the English language! It's not a fair game when the words are not in the dictionary. I know, I wrote them down and looked them up. It's ridiculous! kyd for example, come on, you can't use this! These games sucked, if only because the words didn't make sense. Also, I have to agree with the other opinion in that it is terrible not to be able to direct type in words and have to click on each single letter. It slows you down like crazy. If it didn't cost so much for return shipping I would get my money back! This product is not worth it!

I've played these games a few times on my laptop. Upwords can be challenging, Hangman was no problem for me most of time. Word Hunter was a nice surprise as well. As others have said, the big disappointmemt here is Boggle. Clicking on and carrying letters is time consuming, and you're racing against the clock. I prefer the version of Boggle where you can type in your words. Other than that, this is a fun collection of word games that could help to teach younger people some new words.

The Boggle game slows one down in playing a timed game. You have to click, drag mouse over the letters and release to spell a word. Most newer versions of Boggle, you can just type the words from your keyboard. If you don't hold the click just so, or your fingers slip; it drops the letter and you have to re-click and drag. It's a pain. However, that being said; the other three games are fun...Word Hunter is my favorite...very challenging. I ended up downloading another version of Boggle, from Amazon, which allows typing of the words. MUCH better and FASTER; love it. The other annoying thing is, before it lets you play and again after you finish: You have to watch a whole list of credits scroll the screen, with no way of overriding it. I would ONLY recommend this game if you are interested in the other 3 games and not the Boggle.

Game arrived on time and in great shape. Installed easily and works great. I recommend to anyone that loves word games.

This CD-ROM is a really great deal since it's four games for one low price. Although the games don't have all the bells and whistles that others might have (e.g., adding your name, saved stats, etc.), they're still educational and really fun! Great to play alone or with the family. :)

I play all of the games on this disk, but the whole point is UPWORDS. I love it and it is addictive! You can play solo against the computer and build words like a shortened game of Scrabble (made by the same manufacturer)but you can build words up and over one another, and there are many ways to gain extra points. There are also adjustable levels of difficulty! I don't know where the computer finds some of it's words, but I can usually out-strategize it! It's worth every penny!

Boggle is the best game ever and the other three games are a blast and were just an added bonus. Love my game.

Having lost an old copy of Boggle, I thought this would be a good replacement but it's just not as challenging or fun.
