it only took one song on the radio to make me want to get this CD. I love it, every single song. The only person I can somewhat compare this to is Norah Jones, and not so much does she sound like her, but listening to Annett Louisan gives me the same feeling as if I listen to Norah Jones. Not only her voice and the sound of the music, her lyrics are awesome, an incredible experience of music.

I have a good friend who is German, and that is when I learned that the German language is BEAUTIFUL - not anything like the American stereotype of it. Annett makes this point instantly and makes you not only fall in love with the German language, but also her pure voice and musical genius. I heard her sing on a PBS special and instantly went to Amazon to get her record. Believe it or not, it wasn't available, then, and I had to go to Amazon UK. But it's here now, and everyone should get it and get stuck on Annett. This is a sing along album, even if you don't know what you are saying!

This was a gift from a friend who lives in Germany, and what a great find. I love this album and the voice of the singer. I especially like the dong called "Die Katze". The description of the cat is very amusing, but I think if also relates to how certain women will be like cats and ignore people/men on purpose. It's just in their nature.
Overall, the entire album is very good and I keep listening to it when I need my German fix :)
