Great Cookbook if You Can Get It,

My grandmother used this cook book, so did my mom, so do we. We managed to find a used copy here at Amazon for our daughter.
This was written at the turn of the 20th century, so it is not very specific with oven temperatures ("put it in a hot oven for half an hour") or measurements ("add some good butter and some allspice"). But the ingredient combinations and authentic Czech or Slovak recipes make this a gem. |
