There is one negative review on here as I type this. And only 2 other reviews, both positive. Please do not listen to the negative review! We have been using Boiron Cocyntal for 11 years (our daughter is 12 and our son is 9). We discovered it when our daughter had occasional colic pain (digestive pain, by the way, not mysterious). This was after trying all the homeopathic remedies - none worked very well - and then going to over-the-counter remedies in desperation - these worked no better. Then we happened upon Cocyntal. Wonderful! When our son was born, he was a serious colic sufferer. I don't think we would've made it through without this stuff.
OK, that being said, I want to point out that we try ALL over the counter and homeopathics on ourselves before we put it to the test on the kids. So, this stuff tastes like slightly sweetened water. When we are had pain in the abdomen area (gas), within 10 minutes after taking this (two for adults) we actually felt something "breaking up" in the abdomen. Within 15 minutes, the pain was gone.
We still keep Cocyntal on hand at all times for all four of us. I highly recommend it to anyone and actually include it in every gift at baby showers. And, yes, everyone has thanked us profusely for introducing them to it!

I have two children and they both suffered from colic, whatever that is. This product has always help relieve the pain they are feeling and I am very grateful.

This stuff is for the parents more than the baby. We have tried it all....Mylicon, gripe water and now this. All have failed. Two different pediatricians agreed that none of this stuff works and our baby is proof of that. There is no miracle cure....just time.
