good product used many years to ward off colds and flu. tablets melt under the tongue ao there is no gastric irritation

My little girl has been sick quit a bit, so I gave this to her and I am so surprised at how fast it worked. By the next day she was pretty much back to normal with the runny nose which will more then likely stay a while. It is so hard to get my kids both of them to take medicine but I think my little girl is the worst. She took this with such ease and only happiness. With it not having such a bad taste and so easy to take it made it a lot more stressful for me and much more productive for her. This will be something I keep in my house for a long time to come due to the ease, taste, and the fact that it actually works.

I have been taking Oscillococcinum for over twenty-five years, and it has definitely worked for me. I have used it the prescribed way to take it immediately at the first symptoms of a cold or flu, and I have taken it my way. My way is to take it when I am exposed to someone who is sick. For instance, when my family members have colds, I take one vial a day until all the colds in the house are gone. I have only gotten sick once in over twenty-five years taking it that way. When I have taken it the recommended way, it either stops my symptoms by evening, or the symptoms run their course but much faster-- withing two-three days I am feeling healthy again. For this to work you MUST take it immediately when you feel any type of symptom of a virus. I mean IMMEDIATELY which means in the first one-half hour. I will never be without Oscillo again, as I have maybe one cold every five or six years thanks to it!

I heard about Oscillococcinum by word of mouth a few years back. It was during the H1N1 flu epidemic and everyone was coming down with it. Just like everyone else, me and my whole family found ourselves with that dreaded flu. While most of the family recovered in about 5 days, mine hung on for 3 weeks. At some point someone told me about Oscillococcinum and I bought a box.

Within a half hour I felt tons better. It almost seemed as though it took away what ever it was making me feel lethargic. It wasn't like caffeine energy, more like just feeling better. I regained my appetite, therefore ate a good meal and that also helped me feel better.

After a few hours it wore off and I started to slow down. It doesn't loose effect all at once, just a little at a time, giving you plenty of time to take another.

I researched the ingredients and they may seem strange (duck liver), but they really do make you feel better. If you research the name, you can read about the history and how the duck liver helps reduce the symptoms during a flu.

I have taken this every time over the years I have had a flu since, and it has helped so much. My kids and husband take it too. My husband who refuses believe anything but NyQuil will help him, has found that Oscillococcinum makes a world of difference for him, and now always takes it as well.

By no means is it a cheap medicine. It's also often hard to find on store shelves because it sells out fast when it's in. Because there's only a few doses in each box, people buy several boxes for at a time and the stores often run out. But it works so well that it's worth the cost and stocking up on them when you can find them, so you have them on hand the next time the flu goes around.

Highly recommend trying this when you want something that will make you feel better when you have the flu and that has no side effects at all.

Ever since I learned about Oscillococcinum, I take it when I feel like I am getting a cold or flu and I have yet to experience full-blown symptoms afterward.

I have been using oscillo for over 7 years at the first signs of symptoms (first sniffle, first signs of sore throat) and I haven't been sick. The only rare times I have been sick is when I didn't have it with me. The trick is really to take it at the first signs of symptoms. Over the years, the results speak for themselves. I don't care whether the laws of chemistry agree with me, I am going to keep using oscillo because it sure beats seven days of misery.

I have a family including small children in nursery school and they are constantly picking up something from their friends. Four times this season either my children or my spouse have become ill with flu-like symptoms. Three of those times I took oscillococcinum at the onset of symptoms which included early signs of sore throat and that "pre-ache" feeling you tend to get before the flu sets in. I never became ill taking the oscillo. I usually took 3 doses in one day, once every 6 hours. On the fourth occasion flu hit our household I didn't have any on hand and kind of forgot about it. This time I was quite ill and had a horrible sore throat that finally needed to be treated with antibiotics.

I know a lot of people would say only quacks or fools would take this stuff. I might have said the same thing at one time, but right now my feeling is that this product does indeed work and is worth the price. I will be using this product with my entire family and hoping for the same results.

This really works but not when you already sick. This should be taking when you feel like you're coming down with a cold or flu. My whole family was sick and my grandma drank this to avoid getting the flu and it worked twice.

I know there's no explanation for why this stuff should work, but when I'm just getting cold or flu-like viral symptoms, I take it and the symptoms go away instead of the alternative scenario of me getting sicker. (My son is certain it doesn't work, but he's never tried it. He thinks it's an attribution error and I wouldn't have gotten sick anyway.) Even if it's a placebo effect, it seems to me like it works, so it doesn't really matter to me how it happens. I just like getting the stuff online for half the price I would pay in my local pharmacy (which admittedly is still quite expensive).
