**I also bought the Boker black and blue lanyard to accent this knife, shown in the picture i uploaded**
As for function.... well it passes the basic knife test, meaning it cuts stuff. Problem is the angle of the handle, with the angle of the blade makes if hard to cut stuff that's on a surface. Your knuckles will scrape if you try to use the full length of the blade. My index finger gets rubbed a little raw by the back of the blade (functions as a guard). The jimping on the back of the blade is very smooth and does not provide a super secure perch for you thumb. The handle is a love or hate thing. It gives you the opportunity to learn some new knife holds. Or it's just annoying.
The sheath looks good, but it's very hard to put the knife back in. The mouth is too soft and hangs up on the handle. Plus it's not what you would call quality.
Over all, I'd buy it again. Hoping I can find a niche for this little fellow.
That said... The knife gets five stars, partially because it reminded me that knives can be dangerous, but the sheath could definitely be better. The knife just came yesterday so I've been pulling out, turning it in my hands (carefully now) and putting it back. No work but a little paper cutting, and I've noticed a marked decrease in sharpness. The only thing this 440C blade has been touching that could dull it is the sheath. I think the sheath will quit this eventually once it's broken in, and the blade has tenderized the leather inside. I'll try to remember to update this review if I find this to be true.
All things being equal, I give five stars because I bought the knife. The sheath was just an extra.
As was mentioned, the sheath is absolutely terrible. It got thrown in the trash within minutes. A kydex sheath would have been much more fitting, but at the price point where they are selling the knife it would have been worth the money with no sheath at all.
That's a "normal" sized military style dog tag on the lanyard I added. Will give you a little reference for size.

Much smaller than the picture shows but I knew that going in. I like booker knives and this one is no exception. It comes very very sharp out of the box and is easily resharpened. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Bob
Diminutive beast is the best way to describe it. Through some freak of physical design this tiny thing feels great in my hand…and sharp! Scary sharp from the factory. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Pat Esposito
Great little knife. I've owned my fair share of Bokers and have had mixed experiences with them. This one was great although I do have one complaint: getting it in and out of the... Read morePublished 2 months ago by Nori

This is a neat little fixed blade from Boker. Some don't like the leather sheath; i think it's fine. Yes, kydex would be better. Read morePublished 9 months ago by TraderJim
Great little knife. So small it won't do you any good if pressed against a wall by an illtempered moose. Fortunately, I live no where near moose. Read morePublished 10 months ago by Spring Rhino
Ordered 10 of these as a groomsmen gift. I received them all in a timely manner and all of them were as expected. I will agree that the sheath is a bit crappy but they'll work.Published 10 months ago by nicholas walton
