Really a nice knife and scabbard. Apparently, made in Germany, rather than you know where. This knife actually compares well with my U.S. M3 dagger, which appears to be a variant of the M16Al M7 bayonet. The Boker blade is the same length as the U.S. M3, but the stacked leather handle is a bit longer. However, the leather grip is really more professional looking than the plastic grips on the U.S. model and on the M7 bayonet. For some reason, the company shipped a spare scabbard with the knife and it works well with my U.S. M3 and the M7 bayonet, although it is not as tight a fit as with the U.S. scabbard and will rattle a bit, making it somewhat of a problem for stealth missions, but I prefer to avoid such activity and do not care. Otherwise, this is an excellent collectible for the money.

EXCELLENT MADE KNIFE, ONLY ONE PROBLEM, THE M8A1 SHEATH IS METAL WHICH CAUSES A CLACKING SOUND, NEED TO PUT SOMETHING IN THE SHEATH TO STOP THE NOISE. OTHERWISE PROBABLY THE BEST QUALITY REPRODUCTION M3 KNIFE.
