4.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight and handy, September 27, 2009

This is a fine pocket knife. Unlike other knives I've bought, this one doesn't feel heavy in my pocket. Simple twist design on the shank keeps the knife safely closed or locked open. My only complaint is that 3.75 inches is *just* long enough to fit into my hand, so I'd probably look for one slightly longer if I were to ever buy another. One other thing you should consider is that the blade on this knife is carbon steel, which is good, because it'll stay sharper longer, but it is also prone to rust or discolor, so if you do something like slice an apple, you'll need to remember to clean and dry the blade off after you use it -- probably a good practice, no matter what kind of blade you're using.

Previous experiences with this brand of knives prompted me to buy one again. I wasn't disappointed with this new product. This is a handy knife to have in your lunchkit or glovebox.

These are great utility knives -- my father used them for years and I use them, also. The blade holds a very sharp edge and folds away for safety when not in use. The No. 6 is small enough to pack away for camping, but strong enough for "KP" use. Highly recommend.
