5.0 out of 5 stars Boldly Inspiring
Angie and Debbie Winans are gifted and talented artists who have dedicated their hearts and souls to the Lord Jesus Crist. Between the two, they wrote nine of twelve tracks on this CD! All of the tracks are great!

1.0 out of 5 stars Did They Consider Bebe?
When this album was first released with the single, "Not Natural" I wondered if Angie & Debbie recieved any advisement from the family as to whether such a song was a wise choice. Clearly it wasn't. Now I wonder if these women had knowledge of their brother Bebe's struggle with his own sexuality and if they stupidly wrote this song in the name of standing up for...

Angie and Debbie Winans are gifted and talented artists who have dedicated their hearts and souls to the Lord Jesus Crist. Between the two, they wrote nine of twelve tracks on this CD! All of the tracks are great!

The CD opens with "Rebuke the Devil" a funky uptempo tune with serious lyrics giving you three steps on how to rebuke. The next track "I believe in Jesus Christ" is a proclaimation that our Lord, Jesus Christ is God. It is a sweet, moving song.

There are three great ballads "Love will lead the way", "Watch what I tell" and "Ryan's song". These songs display the girls ability to sing a tune and move you emotionally.

The best cut on the CD "Love won't" basically says God will never hurt or leave you; He's here to love you.

Two other tracks worth metioning "Never gonna" and "Sounds like love" are two urban contemporary songs with a strong message of love.

Overall, this CD is definitly worth buying if you love the combination of R&B and gospel. Angie and Debbie are great writers and singers and will be a force on the gospel scene for years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'll buy it, May 31, 2011
This review is from: Bold (MP3 Download)
And honestly, from listening to the samples I'm not crazy about the sound of it, but I'll buy it simply because I support the truth of God's Word. The young ladies are simply singing the Bible. Those who like it, like it. Those who don't, don't. Amazing how people don't tend to have a problem with God until He tells them something they don't wanna hear. Doesn't make it any less true, though. I applaud your boldness, Angie and Debbie. They hated Jesus for telling the truth, too.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

This is music I purchased many years ago in cassett format and it was misplaced. I was pleasently surprised to find out that it was not only available but could be purchased at such a reasonable price. I am getting ready to make an additional purchases because I have given the others away as gifts. :)

No dirges here. These ladies truely know how to represent the righteousness that should be in all of our lives. You want affirmation? Here it is. This is one of the best driving CD's I have ever experienced. Always fresh.

The voices will set you back in your seat and the bass and drums are so good to carry that solid beat. The CD sound quality and range is excellent, nothing mushy here at all, it makes your stereo shine. Very good job!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful example of how bold we need to be., July 29, 1999

The Album was a wonderful testimony to me. As a teenager growing up in a very Antichrist kind of world, things need to be said. Angie & Debbie said them well. The lyrics were right on the bat. People comment on their Christianity, calling them names. These people need to remember, Christ hates the sin and loves the sinner. Oh, and ladies, please remember, 'Blessed is the man who is persecuted for righteousness sake...' Thank you. Thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Big Up!!! To Angie and Debbie!!, August 31, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Bold (Audio CD)
This album is a trendsetter...and clearly outpaces its contemporary by dealing with real issues with Christ centered agenda. Angie and Debbie possessed to the essence of the Winans Family sound while elevating themselves artistically and musically to another plateau.

Songs like Strange Woman speak to men who constantly finding themselves tempted by women of ill will, while Neva Gonna bring the message home to premiscuous young women and old ones alike.

The album is driven by the theme of boldness in Christ and persistent testimony. These young entreprenuers also provide the sound that our young audience can appreciate and groove to through funk basslines, hip-hop riffs, elegant ballads. Buy it for yourself or your rebellious children and before you know it you all we be serving our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. AMEN

Praise God for Angie and Debbie's boldness on this project. We need more Christians to stand up and boldly proclaim the word through various ministries. I especially like the song "Not Natural" and " I Believe In Jesus." Continue encouraging and exhorting in ministry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, July 27, 1999

I admire the God-given courage these young ladies possess. This album reflects some of the various attributes of God: His love, his reproof, and his admonishment for Christians to be bold, not timid. Those who listen should not misunderstand the message, but remember: "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous, therefore, and repent." (Revelation 3:19).
