Bold Parents Positive Teens by Karen Dockrey is a thoroughly "parent friendly" guide for Christians men and women struggling to raise their children through the adolescent years. Denouncing the myth that teens do best when they experiment with life and learn from their mistakes (especially since some mistakes can cost children their lives and the lives of others), Bold Parents Positive Teens is an uplifting and very strongly recommended guide to being a proactive parent, staying involved in the life of teenage children, and being a positive influence in a world filled with negative messages.

Some parenting books spout tons of theories...this book has doable ideas for getting teens to talk, guiding them through difficult days, etc. Challenging, but not at all overwhelming. I've read - and learned from - about 10 different "teen parenting books" during the last year, but this one might be the best and is, by far, the easiest and most enjoyable to read.
