I bought this to go over my dress I am always an Xl at the most because I am in between dress sizes. The material is not bad at all and the jacket is actually cute but the arms are way too tight. My arms measure 15 around and they would not even go in. I did not return it because I can always give it away but I recommend that if you are going to buy it go 1 or too sizes up and then have taken in.

I am a size 18/20 so I ordered the 4x and it fit great. I had enough room across the back when i raised my arms to hug people. It covered just right in the front where the design on the bust of my dress was still visible. The satin was a perfect match to the satin band on my dress I ordered black.

The jacket is definitely fitted well and sewn pretty nicely--the only problem is that the sizes do not account for larger shoulders/upper arms. If you have broader shoulders, remember to look carefully at the sizing chart. Typically, I wear a medium on top, but even the large was too tight across the upper arms.

The description of this product and it's color are pretty accurate. I got these jackets for my Bridesmaids and they work really well. They are slightly bigger than i had anticipated, but we also used the "bust" measurement as our basis for the size we order, whereas we probably should have focused on the shoulder measurement (se merchants sizing chart if you have no clue what i am talking about).

What a joke of a company. Very rude and very unprofessional. I ordered this Satin Bolero Jacket for my fiancée as it was the one she wanted to wear with her Wedding dress. When she got it, she tried it on and it was way too small. The size was the correct one she ordered, but it was super tight and she could barely get it on. She called to make sure she got the right item and they confirmed she did and when asked why it was so tight the lady told her it was a Junior Cut. At the time of purchase nowhere on this listing stated it is a Junior Cut Bolero Jacket. She checked it multiple times prior to and after buying. When asked what they can do to resolve the issue the lady got really rude and snotty and said "It's not my fault you didn't measure yourself to make sure it would fit." Excuse me? Is that anyway to treat a customer? No it certainly is not! She did measure and ordered what should have been the correct size and you sent her the wrong one!

I bought this as a cover-up for strapless dress I was wearing in my sister's wedding. The material was fine, but the cover-up is not made for women with broad shoulders and biceps. I couldn't get it past my elbows. So I ended up giving them to my sister who has a narrower frame.

I purchased this balero to wear at my wedding.

I used the sizing charts, and ordered a size larger than what I thought I would need. I thought if it was too big my alterations person could handle too big, but not too small.
The balero was way to small...way too small. The tag on the inside said a 1x and the paper hang tag said 2x- neither was correct.

Also the satin is of poor quality, if you are needing this item for a special event such as a wedding. It is too thin and the bottom of the balero had threads hanging from it in the back.

I'm out of time, and now my alerations person has to make the balero. Its gonna cost 2xs as much, but atleast I'll have what I want!!

THIS IS AN AWESOME JACKET, JUST AS PICTURED AND ALMOST TRUE TO SIZE IF I WERE ORDERING THIS I WOULD HAVE PURCHASED IT IN ANOTHER SIZE UP OBLY BECAUSE THE SLEEVES WERE TOO SMALL BUT THE JACKET FIT PERFECT.

I read all the reviews here and I made sure to order a size larger than what I needed. Mine was actually too big! I am a small-framed person, and I realize a lot of the reviews are by plus-size women, so maybe that was the problem. I recently lost weight and the dress I am wearing with this jacket is a size 2. I am 5'1" and weigh 110 lbs, so I would normally wear a medium (or so I thought?). I ordered a large and it is very loose in the arms and just in general. I don't think it is worth returning since shipping was six dollars and I'd have to pay to ship it back, then pay more shipping to get another one. I'll probably just order a size medium and maybe try to sell the large I just bought.

I can see that it doesn't have much "give" when I move. That doesn't really bother me, though. It's just for a wedding, which will mostly be sitting still and getting pictures taken. So anyway, I really like the jacket, it's very dressy and a classic look. I would recommend this jacket as an attractive cover-up to any dress! Just be cautious about sizes!
