Montserrat is as mesmerizing in song as Diana Krall. Montserrat has a pure, smooth, very lyrical voice. Background rhythmic interest created by lightly played percussion instruments adds a flavor of Mexico. Understanding the Spanish language isn't necessary to throughly enjoy this CD.
