Excellent replacement for my Maui Jim's,

I saw these glasses in a gold box special at ~$70 off. If I didn't like them I could always return them.
I was really surprised at the quality of these sunglasses. My $220 Maui Jim's fell to the ground and one of the lenses had a chip which developed into a giant crack. I really didn't want to spend that much on something so fragile. The Bolle's are fantastic. The polarization is right on target. When you tilt your head left and right you don't get extreme changes in polarization which can be distracting with other brands. They came shipped in a nice rigid case with cleaning cloth. I will say they sit close to the face, which I like. It keeps the maximum amount of sun out of your eyes. Those of you fortunate enough to have extra long eyelashes may want to test drive these first. Overall, I'm very pleased.

These sunglasses are great! They fit snugly around the head, and are very stylish. They shipped right on time and in perfect condition.
I spent a while online looking for stylish wraparound glasses, and was initially considering expensive options such as Ray Ban Predators or Sidestreets, not to mention other styles by other manufacturers. I finally found the Anacondas on Amazon, which are half the price as other brands, yet look strikingly as similar and as stylish as the others. I decided to try these out and they serve my purpose fine!

Unacceptable design and construction flaws,

While stylish, the nose piece was uncomfortable when first used. They sit too close to the eyes, and my lashes could rub against it, and they had bad tendencies to fog when you are outside. One of the plastic nosepieces fell off after about 2-3 weeks of wearing them. That was the last straw, so I returned them.

A tad too small for me and I was disappointed to find out that Bolle had produced these in china not france. I gave them to my mother and purchased a pair of Arnette "The Score" glasses which I like a lot.

These sunglasses look good but the materials and construction are rather flimsy. They feel like they'll break about as quickly as the $8 types you can get at the drugstore.
--Update 7/2008: Yup, they fell apart rather quickly.

These polarized sunglasses really do effectively cut out a lot of glare to help me see more comfortably. They have a wrap-around design that helps them to conform very snugly to the contour of my face - I couldn't ask for a more comfortable fit. The rubberized grips near the tips of the arms help these glasses to stay on securely.
These shades look sporty and sexy but not overly flashy. They are thus perfect not only for your outdoor actvities such as biking, but for everyday wear as well. I got the frame with the tortoise design - beautiful! It is actually a bit darker than it appears in the picture on the product page. They come with a protective semi-hard case and a microfiber cloth. The case has a hook for attaching to your belt loop, backpack, etc. I thought these were the best glasses I had ever owned. But, alas, after just a month, one of the lenses popped out of the frame even though I took very good care of these glasses by returning them to the case when I wasn't wearing them. Maybe there would be better quality control if these Bolle glasses were still made in France instead of China? Anyway, it was back to my trusty five-dol1ar Wally World "Berkeley" sunglasses. --- These polarized sunglasses are functional, attractive, and comfortable but not very durable.

These are the best sunglasses I have ever owned,(some very expensive ones!) Comfortable the moment I took them out of the box. I have a small face, blondish hair and blue eyes that need the protection. These are polarized for water sports, wrap around but not vision restricting. I plan to buy another pair. Love 'em!!!!!

Great pair and value,

First, the TNS polarized set runs about half off as compared to what you would find at your local mall. Amazing.... Amazon continues to offer excellent value and prompt shipping.
I am coming from a set of larger (read fits more loosely) Wiley X sunglasses. I was afraid to depart from them, however after a couple of days I can say I am very happy with the anacondas. They fit my head much better, don't wiggle around when I'm active, and provide a very clear polarized view. No regrets here!

Love my Bolle Anacondas. Just bought another pair after my first ones were knocked off my head in a whitewater rafting mishap. Clear polarized lenses, great for water activities, but I also play golf in them and wear them driving. They fit my head well, and I have a larger than normal noggin. About 1/2 the cost of the Ray Bans that I was wearing before.
