It came with another pair of glasses. The black glasses are for driving, shopping, etc, and blue ones for tennis
very light, but fits well, you will forget that you are wearing sun glasses and focus on games.

I have been playing tennis for over 30 years, both competitively and socially. I have seen these glasses on other tennis players and when I ask what they think of them, they all response very positively. I thought the glasses were a little bit too expensive for me but due to my age, my eyes are not as good as they used to be, so I thought I would give them a go. I am very happy with them I believe I can see the ball a lot better and I believe my tennis has improved. However I did find that after wearing them my eyes were a little red and sore the next day, so I was told not to take them on and off while playing, and if I had to wipe my face, to keep my eyes closed, so my eyes didn't have to keep adjusting their focus due to the different contrast. So now I put them on before I start playing and don't take them off until I have finished playing for the day, and I find my eyes are not red and sore the next day.

I purchased these on a reconmendation of a fellow tennis player. I really never wear sunglasses except to the beach. So, honestly, getting used to wearing them was my biggest obstacle.
My first try wearing them was at night under the lights. I managed to the ball well, but other things were too dark. Not recommende to that. Dytime in the sun, not cloudy worked best. They take away the glare and emphasize the ball. Peoples skin look like they are grey and dying. Other colors change too, such as the "red" court ,now brown. That aspect I did not like about the glasses. As a result, I hardly wear them. Oh, I think the price of them, is really too high for a pair of sunglasses. They are NOT scratch proof and for that price I think they should be. Service by Amazon was great. |
