Bolle Thermo - Grip Temple Pads

It was a pleasant surprise to find a store offering replacement temple pads.

The original Bolle temple pads go through two motions that destroy them easily. When putting on the sunglasses the pad is forced against the unnecessarily sharp temple wire which pokes a hole which become a tear and finally just a blow-out.

Removing the glasses pulls the temple pad back off the glasses. So in adjusting the pad to it's normal forward position the above problem is exacerbated. Poor design at both ends.

To prevent this back and forth movement I added a small neoprene O-ring under the front of the pad which seems to be holding the temple pad in place. The O-ring's placement doesn't touch my face so it's not a problem. I've also filed the back end round to keep it from cutting the pad again.

I had trouble finding replacement tips for my Bolle sunglasses. Some places were 29.99 or more for these little rubber tips.. I found them here and they are perfect replacements for the ones I had. Thank you for saving my glasses!

Perfect fit. My sunglasses have been abused for 18 months. Now they look like new. I am glad that I don't have to buy a new pair.

I'm glad I found these. If not I would have had to buy a brand new pair of Bolle sunglasses. These were MUCH cheaper.

A piece of junk! This is the most useless, expensive piece of junk that I have ever purchased from Amazon and is not indicative of Amazon quality. Should be deleted from inventory totally.
