BOLO is one of many books by Keith Laumer and other authors on the Combat vehicle Laumer introduced as the "BOLO". These are artificial intelligences incorporated into massive armored combat vehicles. Not "tanks" in the sense that running over a tank would be noticed by the BOLO but to the BOLO, the tank would just be a crunch. Recommend all books written on these planetary combat units.
