This review is from: Bolton and Wodehouse and Kern: The Men Who Made Musical Comedy (Hardcover)
This book seems pretty fair and well researched; it's also easy to read and gives a good view into the dawn of the modern musical comedy.

This review is from: Bolton and Wodehouse and Kern: The Men Who Made Musical Comedy (Hardcover)
Very well researched book that never felt tedious. This is the history of the famous 'Princess Shows' that the triumvirate excelled at. The occasional period photograph and many examples of Wodehouse's lyrics make this an enjoyable work.
