Jimmie Robinson is an American artist best known for creating the comic book character BOMB QUEEN, a series he writes and draws for IMAGE COMICS.

In 2008, Robinson contributed to the Eisner-winning book COMIC BOOK TATTOO, an anthology of tales inspired by the music of Tori Amos.

Robinson recently collaborated with Eisner-award nominated writer Derek McCulloch on their children's book T. RUNT!, published by Silverline Books.

Interesting premise, evil queen over a city- a city of criminals and degenerates. The tongue-in-cheek panels spouting profanity and the references sprinkled throughout the edition seem more to add 'shock' to an otherwise routine and drab storyline. Artwork is so-so. Mostly, the comic tries too hard to be over the top with the slap-stick simply too slappy to stick. Still, some comical moments here and there.

The latest Bomb Queen TPB is entitled "Bombastic" and a title name has never been better suited. Jimmie Robinson's Bomb Queen takes everything you knew about evil and stomps a big ol' hole in it. The Bomb Queen rules over New Port City with an iron fist and a costume that threatens, and usually does, burst to reveal her ample assets. Robinson unapologetically lampoons traditional superhero titles with a character so outrageously profane that you know it's got to make Stan Lee's gums bleed!

A trio of Internet gossip nerds decides they want to sneak into New Port City to get some stories for their site. This is highly illegal in Bomb Queen's city and they are risking their own lives trying to go undercover as workers from Littleville, the small neighboring town that supplies New Port City's food. Littleville has their own problems, namely in the form of a maniacal serial killer who is carving up residents. Littleville ends their own hero, the White Knight off to talk to Bomb Queen...yeah Right! All Hell breaking loose is an understatement!

Robinson provides both story and art and gives us a sleek, raunchy super villain that is strictly for mature audiences. One of the most provocative and hilarious comics around. If you have not read Bomb Queen yet, here's a chance to get on board

Well I bought this book because of the way on how the Kino-chan character is shown. I love it! The only problem I had is that she didn't appeared too much in the ways I wanted.
