This review is from: Bomberman 2 (Video Game)
Ok, so I don't know why there isn't a single review on Bomberman yet. Maybe it's because it's just that well-known, but it still deserves a 5-star review. The gameplay consists of moving around the levels, dropping bombs along the way. Be careful, though, because you don't want to be caught in the blast when it explodes. Use the bombs to destroy all your enemies, blow up obstacles, and to find power-ups. Once you've destroyed all enemies and found the door, you can move on to the next level. Enemies vary from simple blobs that travel back and forth to others that can move through walls and other that can teleport accross map. The levels quickly become challenging but still fun nontheless. Some power-ups include blast radius increasers, fuse shorteners, and extra bombs to lay more than one at a time. If you lay bombs within the blast radius of each other, though, it will cause a chain reaction, so place them wisely. Also, Bomberman 2 gives you the capability to add a NES Fourscore so you can play up to 3 players in battle mode where your objective is to outsmart your opponents and defeat them. Corner your opponent or trap them between two bombs. Just make sure you don't trap yourself. Bomberman is an epic game. It's a classic and an absolute must-have for the NES, and it is guaranteed to give you endless hours of fun. If you have an NES but no Bomberman, you are truly missing out. |
