This book is a genuinely entertaining read, mostly thanks to the humor sprinkled throughout and the natural writing style. It's definitely written to be geared toward adult women, not pre-teens or young teenagers, so keep that in mind. It's a hard book to put down; I kept wanting to read more and I finished it in a day or two. I found it to be a positive reading experience. If you are depressed, this book might give you a lift. It makes you feel like you could accomplish anything, and that alone is worth the price. It reminded me of the themes from the best-selling self-help book, "How To Win Friends and Influence People," only spoken in a more current, natural tone that helps drive those points home. I really recommend buying both books and reading them back-to-back to reinforce the points if you are looking to improve your self-confidence. Both books will tell you that confidence and likability go hand-in-hand with kindness. You must find your inner beauty to enhance your outer beauty. I think that's a wonderful theme to learn, and this book can help you see the bombshell in you that's been waiting to shine through.

Having a fabulous walk, making eye contact, and making an entrance are the high points in this book. Otherwise, it goes over the basics of keeping yourself up: working out, hair, makeup. Its really just a re-hash of so many other books.

Same old, Same old,
This review is from: The Bombshell Bible: The Only Makeover Book for Style and Soul... (Paperback)
I felt that this book was a book full of magazine advice. The book was slightly entertaining to read, but I mostly had to skip most of the chapters because the book had things I already knew about. If you are completly starting from scratch about gaining confidence and you are just learning how to keep yourself polished then this book might be helpful. Besides that, this book was a waste of time for me.
