Bome Collection Volume 22: Fate/Stay Night Rin Tosaka PVC Figure

First, let me establish a few points. This is my first 'real' anime figure (I have a few bootlegs, but I bought this legit... and you should too, bootlegs are terribly made). Second, I'm a big fan of Fate/Stay Night so obviously I'll hold some biases in my review.

That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed Bome's sculpt of Tohsaka Rin. Bome's sculpt captures the fine line between Rin's model student and powerful mage as an FSN lead. Her captured pose is dynamic and exciting, but her face is very collected, with just a small smile... it is an interesting contrast that I find works well with Rin's complicated nature. The duality that Rin must display on a daily basis in the series (that she's a mage and an idolized model student) makes this pose make sense, closely capturing who she is.

In summary, I found it to be a very well done sculpt of one of my favorite characters. A few more notes to anyone hesitant or as new to these figures as I am: this may be labeled as an 'adult toy' and such, but it's an innocent and respectful take on Rin. For any new to anime figures, it's not really a 'toy' as it's not poseable; these Bome figures are definitely more akin to statues than to action figures.

I really like fate/stay night, and rin is one of my favorite characters in the series. This figure came and its the 3rd rin figure i have bought, and its the best so far, the detail is nice and the figure looks like rin down to the face.

Bome did a good job and its the first figure i have bought from this line. im satisfied with it. Note: the only thing that i dont care for with the figure is that the dagger is glued into her hand and cannot be removed without messing up the paint job.
