I was a click`n through the holiday catalog late one night looking for Yultide Treasure and this recording caught my eye and ear. With the liner cover ya` can sense the contents are slightly askew of the tradtionalist approach , yet the track listing suggested further appraisement.I linked to where clips of this band played and received the hook. First listen, hunch turned out true, some great ear candy here. Throughout this recording there is this swamp beat undertone that picks your spirit up and floats the cares away.Upon a few go rounds you can discern that the band and all special guests had crafted a great jamboree testimonial to aid in seasonal celebrating.With eight instrumental tracks I think you`ll find plenty of time for your mind's reasoning to become uncomplicated by the Delta's simple yet intoxicating charm.Merrily Mix~ 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and 11 ~ no bahhumbugs here~ Post Script:With this band heralding from the West Coast the analogy of a Creedence Clearwater Revival Christmas seems best.
