Say goodbye to sprinkling, spraying, trickling, this nozzle puts out the water! This is no mister, mister. Get ready for maxing out the flow and shortening watering time drastically. I have it hooked up with a shutoff valve that lets me control flow and a little more flexibility. Shoots far; I can put a load of water on anything in the back yard standing in one place. Requires no patience -- water like there's a fire. Two basic modes: adjustable spray and thick water breaker for close-in flooding. Heavy construction and packs a kick. Not for tender seedlings or dropping on your foot. Make the most of your watering time.

I'd give it 6 Stars if I could!
I use it on a 3/4-inch hose. The instructions say 5/8 inch is the minimum. The nozzle needs lots of water supply/flow to do its job. It can put out a lot or a little water, very gently for plants, or a heavy high pressure stream good for washing a driveway... fast.
I have nice cars. They should be washed with a gentle high volume stream so as not to damage the wax. It's fast, saves time and actually saves water.
If you had a fire, this nozzle will run circles around a garden hose with a regular nozzle. It does the job of a fire hose. It has a wide range of flows and pressures... all you'd ever need. It shuts off at full CW or CCW.
I am an engineer and know a good product when I see it. I have the SS one, and it definitely should last a lifetime, if your neighbors don't steal it first! ENJOY !!

If you want a sturdy and robust nozzle that has a high flow rate, this one is for you. It will fill a pail quicker than other non-fire fighters nozzles.

If you want to have a higher pressure jet stream spray, then don't spend your money on this nozzle. You are better off with a less expensive quality rubber covered brass pistol grip nozzle.
