My daughter wears a size 18 months, and this 2T jacket is a little too big, so probably it's true to size? It is a very puffy jacket, the zipper is easy to work even with a squirming toddler to deal with, and ultimately I think it's very cute.

4 stars instead of 5 because the puffiness of the jacket and the rather large hood make it a little bit of a chore to fit the baby and the jacket into the car seat.

I wanted a winter coat that would be longer than most of them are for my 2-year-old. (Why do they make so many winter coats that go only to the waist? Then there's a gap if you bend over... never mind. That's a rant for another time.)

Anyway, this is a cute coat, and a good price. It seems to keep my daughter very warm, and it looks nice and has held up well except for one tiny little thread that came loose. I have exactly the same complaints as the previous reviewer: it is puffy, so it's a little hard to get my daughter into her car seat, and the hood is too large. The hood won't stay on my daughter-- as soon as a tiny wind blows, it's right off. Too bad there's no string or elastic to tighten it up.
