Like so many books about old TV shows that come out today, this one features some extensive bios on the actors (though all the info seems to come from one LOOK magazine article) and a very extensive episode guide.

This isn't the book if you want in-depth chronicles of the production, but if you want to know about the actors, or maybe just locate info on the rerun you just saw, this is it.

Useful. However, there were several synopsis errors, which you won't notice unless you actually saw the specific episode.

Just received the book yesterday, but read enough of it to know it is better than I expected. The biographies are great and the episode guide is too. The color pictures are worth the price alone.

I'm very happy with my purchase. There are some very nice glossy full page photos, and it's a very good episode guide. If you really like the show Bonanza then it's an awesome book.

If you are a true Bonanza fan, this book is the perfect supplement to the tv show. It has all the episodes and guests which helps if you really are a Bonanza fan and collect the episodes. There is also a brief bio on each cast-star which is great (which they were longer, though).

I like this book on Bonana: The Definitive Ponerosa Companion and they are photos from the television show.

The episodes I like to talk about is Enter Mark Twain, The Truckee Strip, Blood on the land, Escape to Ponderosa, San Fransisco, Bitter Water, Feet of Clay, Death at dawn, Desert Justice, The Stranger, Badge Without Honor, Day of Reckoning, The Last Viking, Trail Gang, Silent Thunder, The Ape, The spitfire, Blood Line, The boss, Hoss and the Leprechauns & The Roper!!!!!

I like this book and it has great memories to talk about the episode's.

Ahh!!! I loved this book ever!!!!!

The book had wonderful biographies for all the actors and the most coplete eposide guide I have ever found.

This is an excellent book on the long running series. The only
thing I found curious was no mention at all of veteran actor
Ray Teal who played Sheriff Coffee in 95 episodes. He is not even
listed in the back of the book where all guest actors are denoted.
It would have been nice to see him acknowledged at least.
