I am a huge fan of Robert Fuller's and have tried to snatch up anything I could find with him in any kind of role, especially westerns. Bob just don't seem right (to me) without a horse and a gun in hand, and in this DVD, we have both. AND some very old kool cars! I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie. I did watch Bonanza but was not a huge fan. Laramie and Wagon Train were amongst my favorites. The title of this DVD made me think it was going to be a poor remake of the old series, but was pleasantly surprised at how terrific the movie really was. The premise of the changing environment between the old and new west contrasting each other was fabulous. Bob, as usual he was a shining star and perfect to play the character of Charlie Poke. I must say, I have already watched it twice and know it will be amongst one of my favorite movies. MORE, PLEASE?

I missed the 3 Bonanza TV movies when they were first broadcast so I'm glad two of them are available on DVD. I enjoyed the Next Generation and Under Attack and Amazon has them at excellent prices. Both movies are good fun and I'm happy to have them in my Western DVD collection. Now they just need to release Bonanza: The Return on DVD too.

Great to see old actors from previous series and remember the missing cart-wrights which made bonanza possible. Worth watching to see some good old western fun.

I purchased this Bonanza film along with the Bonanza Under Attack film and honestly I wanted more. I thought the films were ok. I happen to be a fan of Bonanza and because I got this for such a great price it makes it worth it and a important part of my DVD collection. If you enjoy the shows and are truly a fan, and can find a seller with a great price, than I say it is worth it to make this purchase.

Horrible story, bad casting (with only a few exceptions), and what's with the overly loud, saccharine background music???? I felt sorry for the actors though they may have had little idea while filming what a disaster this would be. I bought it because I was looking for Robert Fuller performances and no one on Amazon had written a bad review. This is a bad, bad, bad, bad film.
