It is very strong to joint and fast dry.

The adhesive itself is good and works like super glue but when used with the included filling powder it's just unstoppable.

Coincidentally, I saw a YouTube video showing this product.

The situation:
The front cover of my treadmill came out during our last move. It is screwed to the body of the treadmill with 4 screws (2 front and 2 back). Four plastic pieces broke off from the cover at points at which the screws attach the cover to the treadmill. To glue the pieces back to the cover was not an easy job because there is too much stress on the joints when the treadmill vibrates (specially at higher speeds) or when the cover has to move (when you increase incline). I have joined several broken plastic pieces before and several products in the market can do simple jobs. However, this was very different and challenging.

Remedy:
I tried two products (one cheap and the expensive "Strongest" joint) to attach the broken pieces, but they were not strong enough to withstand the stress from operating the treadmill. It broke every time and the new cover was $200- something I was unwilling to pay. I had given up and was using duct tape to keep the cover on the motor. Coincidentally, I saw a YouTube video showing this product. I liked the fact that it came with a powder that can reinforce the weak spot, so I decided to give it a try.

Process:
I scrapped off all the old glue (very important) and cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol and let it fully dry. In the first stage, I used just a few (4-5) glue drops to join the pieces, making sure that they are exactly where they are supposed to be. It works VERY fast, so you need to be ready with how the joint should look like before you start. Caution: The "glue" is sort of watery and does not join the surfaces till it is dry (which is fairly quick). So it may appear like that it is not working, but if you hold it for a minute or so, it is done. If it is a simple job, you are done now.

The glue alone doesn't compare with Loctite Super Glue Professional. But using the "powders" included is a different story. They say you have five to ten seconds once you drip the glue onto the powder before it hardens ... HA! GOTCHA! You have ZERO seconds, and you can bet your life on it. So you'd better have the powder and the tape and whatever parts you're attaching IN THEIR FINAL POSITION when you pour that glue onto that powder because, BANG ... it's as solid as steel INSTANTLY!!! And if you boo boo, you may need to GRIND it off with a Dremel like I had to do. This is seriously mean stuff.

First, I used it for fixing several things, not all of them successful. For plastic parts, it works well with the powder enforcement. With the glue alone, those youtube demonstrations are not true. The glue smells and works like regular crazy glue but better; however, it should not be trusted to work alone. It is an illusion that with one drop, a cut O-ring is fixed to be better than before. For metal repair, it is very limited. I tried to bond a piece of aluminum back to my car engine, it would hold it but it does not have the strength to resist any significant force. The two bottles of reinforcement powder, though in different colors, are actually the same in my opinion. The gray one is for metal repair but it contains no metal particles.

With all that being said, I found it useful in several repairs that I could not do with other glue. I used it to fix my sunglasses frame, my slippers, my Dyson vacuum cleaner hose, anything which is plastic. Together with the powder, it works well and fast. Clean the surface before hand. It helps with the results.

Do not breath in the fume when the glue is dipped into the powder. There are several similar products, rapidfix, turbo repair, etc. I also found that you can source it out of china for less than $1.00 each for a quantity of 1000. Therefore, I don't think that there is any special chemistry here. It is probably baking soda with the crazy glue. In fact, I tried it and the baking soda works just like the enclosed powder. Instantly, the baking soda turns into something really hard to bond plastics together. Therefore, I will just buy those 99 cents crazy glue together with baking soda once I used up the Q-bond set I bought.

Accidentally glued my keys to my counter!

This stuff is great, and the filler material makes an incredibly strong bond where normal glue would not work. I was able to sucessfully repair a windshield washer fluid on a reservoir in a matter of minutes, road debris had broken the bottom clean off, leaving a jagged edge that was missing material. Even in a tight, restricted space I repaired the container.... being incredibly lazy, I filled it with fluid after only waiting 5 minutes, and it held! That was 13 months ago, havent lost a single drop of fluid.

I received this product and started using it right away. So far i have used it to fix cracks in plastic materials "car trim mainly" for my interior. i have to say it works just like stated in the product description. very fast drying and very strong. i would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a bonding substance. I have not had a chance to test the metal powder that came with the kit but the plastic powder works terrific.
