4.0 out of 5 stars Good resource for teens 14 and older as well as young adults, November 22, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Similar to the adult version, many concepts may be over younger (<16 yr old) readers' heads, otherwise appropriately focuses on issues teens/young adults face. I want to make note, however, that despite being labeled a "youth edition", this is NOT a book for anyone 13 or under. I don't feel that most kids of that age would have achieved the maturity necessary to benefit fully from this book. One of the questions following Chapter 2 "Finding Your way in the World" is as follows: "How is the secular worldview affecting your understanding of Satan's activity in the world?" I would highly recommend any of Neil Anderson's books- this one included- but I feel we must also be careful not to place something into the hands of a child too young... we wouldn't want to be giving them small "glimpses" into the fact that there is a very real and accessible (though rooted in darkness) power to the occult without being sure they have a proper foundation laid first.

4.0 out of 5 stars Teen edition., August 11, 1996
By A Customer
This edition, like the original focuses on freeing yourself spiritually and mentally from bondage in all areas in your life. Special attention paid to peer pressure, sex, drugs, and the like. I would recommend it to all Christian teens and parents of teens

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!!!!, September 17, 2010

This book is nothing but excellent for the Christian youth of today and Adults as well. Neil Anderson has tremendous insite into the Christian life and the ongoing battle our youth faces everyday living in a corrupt World.

This book explains how God has a plan for our life. A life of freedom from the bondages the world offers. Such as the Spirit World, porno, drugs, sex, etc., all which is out there to place us into bondage.
Christ died to offer us "Freedom" from all such things. This book has steps to explain that freedom , all placed firmly into a scriptural basis. Every Christian would benefit from reading this book.

I personally bought several and passed them out to the many teens who are mixed up in this "spirit world thing" such as seeking out the spirit life and taking pictures of spirits. Which are really demons. Satan knows his days are numbered and has made a real appeal to our youth.
I can't recommend this book highly enough.
