-protects me well when I get thrown by judo guys
-I bought two and they connect together perfectly.
-They fold and unfold well, and store pretty decently too. seamless when set up.
-nice and big floor size
-this was the cheapest price for a 2" mat I found on amazon at the time and maybe now too, when you count the free shipping I had at the time.
-although it took a bit of digging to find this out, there is a customer service number for Orbring that you can call and I was able to communicate with them when I had a question.
-fits in a toyota yaris hatchback when the back seats are down and right passenger seat is folded forward.
-box/package had a slight tear with product slightly exposed when it arrived. they just need to wrap it three times instead of twice
-mats have a somewhat slightly strong chemical smell to them, so get these if you don't mind or if you are able to store them in a garage or place like that, far away from where you spend time and sleep.
overall good purchase and the only real alternative for me would have been Zebra mats for maybe $60-$80 more.
THE SIZE: extra 1 food wider and 2 feet longer (than normal 4x8 mats) which allows even 2 kids do rolls and safe tumbling at the same time. Honestly i cant see how 8 feet long mat would be comfortable for gymnasts. So 10 feet long is the way to go. My kids can do round off back handspring easy on it.
FIRMNESS: i was looking for mat that would be firm enough and yet safe for falls. When we first opened the mat from packaging my kids noticed how FIRM it was almost on a HARD side and they pointed out they are scared to do tumbling on this "hard" mat. But once they started practicing within minutes they realized it is firm and yet enough squishy to feel very safe. It is an amazing balance, believe me!
CONS: a bit on a heavy side. Folding and unfolding then folding again can be on "not want to do" list. I think the package said 65lbs. But the mat itself is amazing so even though its heavy its not worth taking a star out of rating :)

These mats are great. Very thick yet study, which allows us to use them for wrestling practice, including throws. They hold up well to abuse, at least so far. Read morePublished 9 months ago by Trevor Davis

Good mat, but it's very hard to move it from one place to the other and very heavy also. Kids love it.Published 22 months ago by Emy Corsini
