I would have to say that the Bondhus brand is a great USA made tool.
Chris K.
With the two color sets, you can quickly tell between the standard set and metric set.

Pros:
These allen wrenches are worth every dollar. I've used wrenches from various other manufacturers, and none of them worked as well as these. Unlike the other brands, these wrenches don't twist and bend, they haven't started to 'round out' or wear yet, and they fit screw heads well.

The silver and gold finishes on these are great as well. I'm not a fan of gold, and if I had a choice I would have gone with silver for both, BUT, having two colors does help keep your English and metric sets separate.

Cons:
Your coworkers are going to want to steal these. =p

Bottom line, spend the extra few dollars to buy these wrenches. I haven't owned them long, but I can already tell that they will last far longer than other wrenches I've owned. Cheap out, and you'll end up spending more money buying cheaper tools again and again.

Update - 06 November, 2012:
I just bought a second pair of these a year and a half after the first pair. I didn't need a new set, but constantly need them on two sides of my workplace (machine shop), and I immediately bought another set of these. Even with constant use, the first set has held up incredibly well. I've only had one wrench fail on me (either the 3/32" or 5/64", a tiny one), and that's only because I abused it with a torch and stubborn set screw. I've since ground the end down, and it's still a usable stubby!

I still won't hesitate to recommend these wrenches! They are absolutely worth the money.

I don't hand that title out lightly, but these ball ends deserve it. The Hex side of all wrenches in this set are accurately sized within +/- .001 thou (.02 mm). The Ball sides are also close enough, +/- .015 thou (.35 mm) on the bigger sizes.

Finish is excellent, and having the set in two colors is super helpful, especially with the sizes that are too small for labels and I've got to organize them back into their holders.

My set's holders came with different graphics. They've got labels for the wrenches, but they lack the Ape logo and patent. Instead, they simply say Bondhus and Made In USA. The holders hold all but the smallest wrenches very securely, and those that are loose are held back from sliding out by the larger sizes. This is almost not worth mentioning because it has little to do with how the tools preform their jobs.

Pros:
Excellent fit and finish.

Cons:
Tool holder doesn't hold the smaller size very snugly.

Bottom line:
No disappoint here, there are definitely worth the extra money.

Note*
Since the tool-bolt interfaces on the ball sides are reduced, I don't set my final torque with the ball side. Too much torque on soft metal or plastic fasteners (especially with the smaller size), combined with the smaller flats and larger wrench tolerances will increase the chance of stripping the fastener's head.

The case on these is honestly probably my favorite part. The hex keys are great, sizes are accurate, but I love that the wrenches move freely enough in the case to get the one I need out easily. I've had other brands of hex keys and I always felt like I had to fight to get the one size I need out. I do wish the metric set had more sizes in it, but I can live with that. Bondhus also makes a really good set of the T handle ones too that are worth checking out.

I have used Bondhus hex wrenches and hex keys at work extensively. I broke s few of my Craftsman pieces at the house and I bought these to replace them. I know I could have them warranted but a lot of their stuff is Chinese now and these are better made than the USA craftsman that I damaged.

Bonhus puts their money in the most important part of their tools. The steel.

I work in the industrial feild, bought these to try. I will say that I am very pleased. They work great and I really like the colors, it really makes them easy to find in my tool bag. And they are even made in America ( that's what I like best).

I picked these up for the ball end and find them to be really handy. Bondhus could easily charge more for these. If you don't lose them they will last forever!

I had my last set of Bondhus hex keys for 6 years, and I work on equipment for a living that is held together mostly with hex screws, so they got a lot of use. Other than some of the black coating rubbing off, they were still perfect, none had rounded off, bent or broken. Finally, I dropped one into a place where I couldn't get it back and since they were old, I replaced it with this. The inch set is nice because after a few months of use, they show no signs of wear. Whatever coating there is only exposes metal when it rubs off and since they are the same color, you can't see it. The gold is rubbing off of the metric set a bit, but I don't mind. I am just happy that they are a different color so I can't accidentally stuff a key into the wrong holder and end up stripping all my 4mm screws because I grabbed mall-placed 5/16 wrench from the metric holder. I need all the idiot proofing I can get.
