This review is from: Bondhus 37937 Set of 13 Balldriver L-wrenches with GoldGuard Finish, Long Length, sizes .050-3/8-Inch (Tools & Home Improvement)
...because these hex keys are absolutely worth every penny. And when you consider the high quality, and the fact that these are still made in the USA, it's not really all that many pennies. These hex keys are extremely well made. Aside from the blindingly obvious, it's worth noting that the non-ball ends have been carefully chamfered to engage hex screws easily but securely. I haven't had them long enough to comment on the durability of the plating, but I will update this review if it should prove to be non-durable. The only possible drawback is that they are really quite long. Their length might prove to be a bit cumbersome in very cramped conditions, though the tradeoff is increased leverage. My only recommendation (aside from buying these) is to compare prices between the GoldGuard version and the BriteGuard version. If you are considering buying these in both metric and SAE, you'd be well served to get one set in GoldGuard and the other set in BriteGuard. That way, you can differentiate between the two immediately. The prices differ substantially amongst the four sets (metric/SAE & GoldGuard/BriteGuard) so you should figure out which combination allows for two different colors at the lowest price. |
