This is more like the Anja books I started reading this series for. Thank goodness the author has our heroine acting more like the superhero and less like an indecisive vacillator. There's plenty of action, bad guys you hate but can understand somewhat, Anja's not so desperate for company she loses all common sense, and she finally take a chance on her long time best friend. Rue and Garin finally show up again. Garin is a real pain in the buttocks but it's funny how he and Anja circle around each other like two alphas sharing the same hunting grounds.
But he and Anja finally have a moment to talk, unfortunately they've both waited too long to trust the other, not that you can really trust Garin.

I ordered this last minute for my sister for Christmas after forgetting to add it to a previous order. I upgraded the shipping, and was very satisfied with the time it was shipped/delivered, and the book was in really good shape once it arrived. Definitely recommend the seller :)
