Holy Rollers Rockin' in a Killin' Machine,
By Mets6986 (New York, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bone Hair & Hide (Audio CD)
I first read a little snippet about this band and album in the New York Times that said, "Greasy as a truckstop burger and bumpier than a high-speed ride in the back of a pickup." Unfortunately, it was a day-old paper and I'd already missed the show at CBGB. I never got to see Bodeco (Bo from Bo Diddley and -deco from zydeco, the band's manager told me when I called them in Louisville asking about future dates). But I sure picked up this album. Along with the cut that I use for the title of this review, other wild-a$$ songs include "Dead Broke and Dirty" and "Suicide Ride."

This album would be an excellent choice for fans of the Reverend Horton Heat.
