I was given this book for Christmas a number of years ago. At the time I knew little about Patagonia. I'm pretty adventurous, but got to thinking, 'I never want to go there!' It was quite an ordeal for the folks. I learned a lot about history and what was happening in the overall culture, let alone the hardships of fossil hunting in those days in that lonesome place.
