What I expected, but not bad at all,

Rudy's new album is very good. He uses some more of that computerized voice effect that he used on the Wreath Of Barbs track. Its not as dark or harsh as EmbryoDead(which I liked best) but its not all that bad either. Its a lot slower as far as beats go and of course its evil as hell. The booklet contains pictures of someones hands grabbing at their torn stomache. The lyrics are evil as usual too which is good. The only thing I didnt like about the album is that it doesnt hit any new ground. The sounds are similar and the songs dont give me goosbumps like past masterpieces i.e. Bunker Gate 7 or EmbryoDead. Maybe its just because I havent had a chance to listen to the album several times yet, to get the full feel effect. One thing is for sure its good mood music, perfect for a dark evening or Halloween, or if youre like me...anytime. Its a new full length Wumpscut so I'm not complaining. If youre looking for a faster harsher, more evil Wumpscut, this isnt it. Its a slower, quieter, but still evil Wumpcut. Highlight tracks are Crown of Thorns, Our Fatal Longing, Just A Tenderness(that title sounds funny to me), and In the Peace of Night. Not for newcomers, but longtime Wumpscut fans(like me) will be happy.

Is it me, or does every song sound the same on this album?,

I really like the songs "Just A Tenderness", "March Of The Dead", and "Final Warning". The only problems I have with this album is that all of the songs sound identical, and that Rudy repeats himself over and over again. It's not a great Wumpscut album, but it is ok. Oh, and I really like the artwork.

Listen to all those haters out there! Criticizing an album because it's not "industrial" enough? What are you guys, a bunch of conservative Republicans? No, this album is not Bunkertor 7 or MFAST, but get over it. It's slow and grinding, like a torture device. All praise for the Master for taking a break from the dance-floor! Besides, if he wasn't making you mad, he wouldn't be doing his job now, eh?
