With a sense of humor, a knack for irreverent description, and a great sense of setting, this collection of stories, previously published in magazines, provides some very amusing tales. I kept telling myself to read only one a night, but pigged out and enjoyed them all. Track boys, pizza chefs, cops, surf punks, and other erotic archetypes are fully explored without a trace of stereotype. What a sex-positive fun collection! The author is rumored to be a bestselling author in another category.

Variety is the spice of life. Here's some of the stories in this short "bone fiction" anthology: "Checkup" finds a doctor inspecting the narrator's anatomy. Read "Punch and Poke" and you'll never look at a boxer without thinking of cucumbers! "Kouros" and "Roar" so sincerely capture youthful lust on the track team and in summer theatre that it's a crime to call it mere porn.
