Richard Moore, Boneyard, vol. 6 (NBM, 2007)
There's a big interdimensional party afoot, and Abbie asks Paris to accompany her. All's well... oh, okay, all is a shambles. It wouldn't be Boneyard if it weren't. But this is the volume we've all been waiting for, where much of the potential of Boneyard gets realized. The best of the series (so far, I hope). ****

Richard Moore made a real gem with this one. It was nice to see Abby the vampire with her defense down and prettied up. Her kind of boyfriend made a wonderful defense of his friends. It was to bad after this one that he didn't do many issues after this book. But it is well worth buying.

Boneyard Vol. 6 faithfully continues Moore's lighthearted comedy/horror(?) saga with the dry, subtle humor and flowing art style we all know and love. Here we find the characters roped into attending a formal ball that could make or break their lives in the boneyard. Hijinx ensue with the reappearance of the pumpkin-headed villain and Lilith, but much more detail would risk spoiling the story. All told, Volume 6 is quite enjoyable, if a little brief, and well worth the read.

The continued story of a loser and a graveyard full of monsters that just really meshes. The characters are endearing and funny and a pleasure to see relationships develop. Do yourself a favor and start with volume 1
