I have been following Jay Atwood's music for some time and was delighted to see him issue Bonfire Dreaming. If you have ever spent hours around a huge bonfire, and tranced and moved and sought visions, this CD evokes those feelings and moods. Mixing rhythms and sounds from varied cultures, Jay paints impressionist paintings of mystic worlds. Highly recommended.

Now that he is part of the Wicked Tinkers, their sound has changed a little to reflect his style. I look forward to hearing more of his stylings. Jay Atwood is a great musician and a fun person to watch live.

We have come to know Jay over the past several years and always thoroughly enjoyed his music with the Wicked Tinkers. The first time I actually had a chance to hear "Bonfire Dreaming" was on a road trip back from Colorado. His music seemed to fit every turn in the road in the vast spaces of eastern Utah, over the high plateaus and along the most amazing vistas. It was surreal. It was like being in your own movie with an incredible soundtrack. You just wanted to keep driving and hear more and more. Cannot wait until the next CD, Jay! Thanks for this great music.

This CD is beautiful! 'She Dances' is my favorite song on the whole disk, but the whole thing is really good. Can't wait to see him and the Wicked Tinkers next year at the Highland Games in Wa!
