This video is an excellent choice for parents who crave more than the standard fare . If tella tubbies are the equivalent of wonder bread than Moustache, the french cat, the star of this video is a bagette. I cannot account for the less than favorable reviews above . I can only tell you that my Two and one half year old son loves both vol .1 and vol. 2 and speaks well over 75 words in french. I would highly reccomend this video for ages 2-7.

Excellent instructional video! My 6 year old loves this video and has been learning a great deal from it (and so have I). I've read some of the other reviews and I'd like to note that repetition is important in learning a foreign language. This video caused me to buy volumes 2 and 3. It offers fun animation, counting, basic greetings and songs etc... Again, an excellent introduction to the French language!

I don't understand why people rated this video so badly. My son (almost 5) and my daughter (almost 2) are NUTS about this video. I think it is well done. Repetitive? But of course. That's the whole point: It's for children!... Also, the only way to really pick up a skill is to repeat it many times. 5 stars for this excellent, fun and educational video.
