Instead of employing a single blade to do all chores, this hand blender comes with four separate attachments, each designed to accomplish a single task ideally. One attachment mixes gravies, salad dressings, and sauces; another blends batters, smoothies, and powdered drinks; a third beats eggs; and a fourth whips cream and custards. This versatility comes without cord tangle because the blender is powered by four AA batteries (not included). Two speeds are available with the soft, push-button control on the power unit's top, and switching between speeds is merely a matter of varying thumb pressure. Pressing a little activates low speed, perfect for beginning a process without splattering. Pressing harder activates high speed. The power unit and all four attachments fit into a counter stand for compact, convenient storage. Accompanying the blender is a plastic, 2-cup work bowl/measuring cup (which is dishwasher-safe) and a recipe booklet. --Fred Brack

Adios,hasta luego,caveat emptor! Looks can be deceiving...if you mix water with powder or whip ("turbo"?ahahahahaahaha) a milkshake (minus the ice cream...Bonjour cannot handle anything with firmness/texture)it suffices;but so does a cup with a lid on top.
The 4 "petite" attachments all work the same.Unless you have stock in the Energizer bunny company (you'll need it for the batteries it goes through),I recommend "shaking" a cheap plastic cup with a lid.You'll get better results,exercise and some serious change in your pocket.To be fair: the plastic cup it comes with "looks nice".$20 dollars and change for a cup ..you be "da judge".If you do buy it you will certainly be "duh judge"!

I wanted something easy and convenient. Unfortenately this was not the blender for me, it just doesn't work. None of the attachements stay on and made it impossible for me to blend anything. I was very disappointed in this product.

Sounds like others have tried to use this item for the wrong uses. This hand blender is execllent for whipping cream, eggs, frothing and many other light blending jobs. It is convenient and quick to use on those jobs that you don't want to break out the beefy blender. Great for the right job!
