Editorial Reviews

Bonkers Volume 1 (Hixxy and Sharkey are Bonkers) was React's first foray into the realm of happy hardcore and the first volume of what has become an incredibly successful series for the label.

Inspired by hearing DJ Hixxy and MC Sharkey’s early track, "Toytown," – the hardcore anthem of 1994 – React recognized the alchemy between the two and the Bonkers series was born.

Now back due to popular demand, React is releasing the album in a limited silver edition – get your copy now, before it disappears again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bonkers 1 is a classic, September 28, 2005
This review is from: Bonkers: Silver Edition (Audio CD)
Un like most bonkers this album is totally happy hardcore.

Hixxy's mix classics are bust the new jam and slimat's mix of Brisk's Airhead. Listen out for the two muppets (the 1s who comment on everything) and the cookcoo song at the end of Scott Brown, now is the time. Hixxy's wizzard of Oz sounds Unique

Sharkey's mix, The truth sounds like classic 'Underground, freeform' that is on Sharkey's new mixes but the rest is happy hardcore. two classics being Ham, Is anyone there and Druid and Bannaman, Twiddledum (I like the kick drum in it)

This is great for anyone who likes bonkers and happy hardcore
