This book was very enlightening. It talked about how we unwittingly make our churches small by restricting its growth. It gave stragegies to overcome this and help your local church flourish.

This is a concise, well-written, easy to read book that explains how church's can get in their own way and unknowingly inhibit church growth. Highly recommended for anyone interested in church growth.

The author does a good job of using the analogy between methods used to keep bonsai plants small and inhibiting church growth. As he explained what is necessary to maintain the desired plant size(small), I could easily make the connection to church growth or the lack thereof. I believe this book would be helpful to those interested in identifying - and hopefully eliminating - factors which inhibit natural church growth.
