I was a little skeptical spending this much money on a toy camera. I wasn't expecting much with its 5 megapixel sensor but boy was i wrong. Obviously the picture quality isnt the best but this camera is so much fun to use. It makes me think more out of the box. The vintage looking pictures are awesome! And the tilt shift works so well on this lil thing. I'm so satisfied with this purchase. I'm thinking about ordering another one for my sister. Another thing i was very happy about was how fast it shipped. It got to my place 4 days before it was suppose too, such a wonderful surprise to come home to.

Many reviews of this camera have cheerfully reproduced the makers claim about a 'tilt-shift' lens. They obvious have no idea what tilt-shift means. The lens does not actually tilt or shift in any way. You would use a proper tilt lens to control the zone of focus and shift to correct vertical lines in an image. This camera fakes an effect that can be produced with tilt - a tight zone of focus with blurred foreground and background. But usually you would use a shift lens to do exactly the opposite - extend the zone of focus. It has no shift correction effect at all. None.
The effect it does produce is the same as the 'Miniature' effect found in the scene modes of many regular digital cameras - but with less control. A blur mask seems to be used on the lower lens to get the effect. So the claim that it is a 'tilt-shift' lens is utterly misleading (to the point of deliberate deception) and the reviewers who have accepted the claim have merely displayed their ignorance of basic photography.

Ok, so what's the point?
None of the features are really true analog~ all are 'fake' digital effects- nothing to do with the physical function of the lens, camera, etc. So, basically it's just another crappy digital camera. Which you already have on your Fone.
No, It does not do any tilt/shift or perspective control in the analog sense.
You want to do film? Get a film camera. You want to do perspective control? Get an analog (film) camera and hack it. Or spend real $$ on a PC lens.
If you want to look like an uneducated gadget imbecile, get this now! and put it in your PT Cruiser and drive off into the sunset.
