OH! MY! GOODNESS! This has got to be most incredibly cutest dog ever in the entire world! Boo is a Pomeranian dog that has the cutest haircut that makes him look like an itty-bitty baby bear cub. And I mean little. Boo doesn’t seem to mind being dressed up in different outfits like coats and sweaters or being put in toy cars or miniature swimming pools to help kids learn their ABC’s.
“Kites are great for windy day fun!”
Each letter of the alphabet shows Boo as he is acting out something to do with that letter. Like C is for car and Boo and his friend Buddy, are taking an adventure. F is for fluffy and Boo is at the hair salon sitting under the dryer where it appears that Boo is getting fluffier. Each page and each letter just gets cuter and cuter and will make you say “aw” from A to Z. I might already know my ABC’s, but you just cannot put this book down and even my mom and sister thought this book would be an awesome way to learn the letters and to read.

This book is just way too adorable. I love Boo and think he is so cute. I bought this book along with the 9" Boo stuffed animal as part of a baby gift.

Boo is a cute little Pomeranian who has been called "the world's cutest dog" and who has nearly 7 million likes on his Facebook page. He also has several books for children, including BOO ABC: A to Z with the World's Cutest Dog.

The book combines photos of Boo (taken by Gretchen LeMaistre) being adorable in some way, with activities kids can identify with to help teach the ABCs. For instance, E is for eat, and there is a picture of Boo staring longingly at a cup of cocoa and a bone-shaped cookie with the words, "Snack time! Yum!" Boo also sports a little hat for the letter H, appears with a stuffed giraffe for G, and poses with a sand castle for S. Each letter features prominently on the page along with a dog bone that contains a word to go along with the letter.

Author J. H. Lee owns Boo and Buddy, who also appears in a couple of pages, and she knows how to put her pup in situations that really show off his cute side. Children should love coming back to Boo ABC again and again, learning the alphabet as they do.

The publisher provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I've purchased the entire Boo series, and I must say, the first two books are an absolute delight.

First, we had "Boo: The Life of the World's Cutest Dog," and while you might argue that he's only the cutest dog in San Francisco, he is very cute. And he truly showed his range and promise with that Freshman effort. (My wife and I saw a dog in Yountville, right next to the French Laundry, that looked suspiciously like Boo, proving that perhaps there might be a cuter dog up north. We stopped her "human" and found out that the Boo imposter's name is Angel. Perhaps we might have a potential hookup? Would Buddy become jealous? Stay tuned.)

Second, we had "Boo: Little Dog in the Big City," and I argued in an earlier review that "San Francisco ain't big enough for Boo" in that Sophomore effort. Sure, "ain't" may not be a word, but I believe the rest of the argument was still valid. Boo showed there that he owned the city, and other dogs stepped out of his way as he pranced down the sidewalk, head held high in the air, on the way to his hotel. He had steak -- medium rare, or course -- and we hoped beyond hope that he was able to secure a late checkout at the hotel. Either way, he had the time of his life in the City by the Bay. And the city was surely his oyster.

But then something happened. I would now argue that Boo got a little lazy with his Junior effort. In this book, "Boo ABC: A to Z with the World's Cutest Dog," sure, he shows he knows his way backward and forward with the alphabet. Sure, he shows that he's still the best of buddies with, well, Buddy. And sure, he shows that he can mix it up a bit by going in a different direction and thereby showing that he has range.

One day, my daughter commanded Siri, "Show me a picture of the world's cutest dog." Much to her surprise, pictures of our own adorable shih-poo pup did not come up. Siri, it seemed, had made a mistake. But then she saw him, Boo, the world's cutest dog. It was love at first sight, and we have been some of Boo's number one fans ever since. This book contains 26 adorable pictures of Boo. I think the pictures correlate with the alphabet, but who cares?! There are 26 pictures of Boo and also a lot of his best pal (and also adorable), Buddy.
