I really intially bought this CD only knowing 'Boogaloo Down Broadway', but soon realized that my favorite song on the CD was 'Hitch It To The Horse'. Apparently, the transfer of the Fantastic Johnny C's album to CD has been anticipated by many collectors for several years. If you are a collector of 60's soul music, you need this in your collection. Pure dancable energy, great beats, and full of smokin' attitude! Highly recommended!!

With the urgent feeling and the conviction in his voice, Johnny C is a underestimated soul singer. If his material doesn't show you his inner being you would be totally lost with the Fantastic One. I have had this,(his only album he made) for over a year and a half, and i am proud to say that i do own it. If you like soul music Buy this CD. Now if you will excuse me while I BOOGALOO

I bought this on a lark... I just wanted to get Boogaloo Down Broadway. I was shocked by how welll the entire album sounds. This guy can sing and boogey with the best of 'em! Though he covers a lot of songs, he does a terrific job. Great stuff for a dance party. They did a nice job digitizing this album, too. The sound is good!
