Some people have questioned whether this actually includes the microphone, because although the title says "Boogie w/ Microphone", the content description does not say it. I ordered this on March 9 and it came with a microphone. That was why I bought it. We needed more microphones for other games, and it was just as cheap to buy this set for $16.99 and get the microphone, then to buy a microphone by itself. So we actually bought two of these sets and just sold one of the games and kept both microphones. The microphones aren't fantastic, but they work, and they are good enough for the kids to use with Rock Star, Boogie, and High School Musical Sing Along. The only games these microphones don't work with are the SingStar games.

In fact, if you look up the ASIN number for this product (Boogie with Microphone for PlayStation 2 ASIN: B000UV3FBK), Target and other stores say it is the game and microphone. If someone purchased this bundle and did not get the microphone, they should definitely check to see what ASIN was sent, because they must have received the wrong one.

This product is definitely worth the money to get the microphone! Aside from that, the game is fun. My kids have fun dressing the characters. Personally, I like SingStar better, but this has mini-games that the kids like.

I haven't played the game (and may not, based on the many "meh" reviews here), but I would like to instead review the *microphone* that comes in this box.

The microphone that comes with this game is the same quality as the ones that come in the Karaoke Revolution games. I have one of those, and this one, and they are almost identical. They both work equally well.

If you already have other singing games (with the exception of RockStar ones that require their own branded microphone), this is a great value. The game is poorly rated, so the price is low on this one, and the microphone is well worth it.

I got this mostly for the microphone and also because we'd been really getting into karaoke games lately and my son has had some trouble with them so I thought since this had the dancing via controller he might like the difference. He LOVED the game and they played it constantly all through christmas break. It has some really good music on it also. The only problem I had was while others had great luck with the microphone ours kept going kaput on us. We have another microphone though so not a problem. We enjoyed the story line. The characters and story line were cute.

I haven't tried the game. I just bought for an extra mic, so I could use it with Beatles Rock band. It was cheaper than any other mic I could find, and I was pleasantly surprised that the ps2 mic works with the Wii.

Too many levels to go through for me... the microphone works with other games so that was worth the $$$

I bought the "Boogie" bundle for the microphone to use with guitar hero and Rockband.
The Game - I gave the game a 2/5 due to the fact that the game took so long to get into and the controls where too complicated, I gave up halfway through the intro, due to boredom.

The Mic - As I said early the mic was my main interest, it's a EA(tm) wired microphone with plenty of cable, the only problem I have is the mic isn't stable and "quivers" every you try and talk or sing into it for more than a second.

Overall it's worth it just for the microphone, but the microphone is not as "professional" as an "logitech" mic, for $5 more.

Bought this just for the microphone but it was good for a few laughs. It has some good songs, and the dancing is so ridiculous that you have to laugh at it. Might be a good game for younger kids. Microphone works great with Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

This game was on the $10 rack at Wal-Mart. My kids were having some friends over to spend the night, so I picked it up as something to keep them busy. They fumbled through it a bit at first then wouldn't turn the thing off. They played it for hours, laughing the whole time. I even gave it a try and would have probably continued playing if the kids wouldn't have taken over.

This isn't on the same level as Karaoke Revolution or DDR, but it is a lot of fun for the price. The animations are cute and quirky and the dances are silly. I like that you earn points and buy the songs, clothes, and stages to unlock, so you can choose what you're unlocking.

My husband found this game on clearance at Best Buy for just $5 and thought, why not give it a try for such a cheap price? After playing it for 30 minutes we were both unimpressed. The karaoke part of the game is pretty bad. The on-screen cuing for the song lyrics was terrible and I'm not sure if something was wrong with the microphone, but our voices were extremely muffled even after playing around with the sound controls. The dancing part was equally lame and I would not recommend this game to anyone.

It was fun for about an hour and then we had no interest to play it again. If you are looking for a karaoke game...this isn't it! It makes your voice sound weird!
